2008 Portland Feis Vendor Contract

1. Vendor Services. The Portland Feis hereby authorizes the vendor to perform the following services in

accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement: The vendor will consult with the

Portland Feis’ representative(s) with any matters relating to The Portland Feis.

2. Terms of Agreement. This agreement will begin October 3, 2008 and will end October 5, 2008. Either

party may cancel this agreement on thirty (30) days notice to the other party in writing, by email, certified

mail or personal delivery.

3. Time Devoted by Vendor. It is anticipated the vendor will spend approximately 3 days in fulfilling its

obligations under this contract. Vendors must be set up prior to Feis beginning hours: Friday, October 3, 2008- 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2008 - 8 a.m., Sunday, October 5, 2008- 9 a.m.

4. Feis Location. The vendor will perform their services in accordance with this contract at The Red Loin Hotel by the River 909 N Hayden Island Drive Portland, Oregon (503)238-4466 or (360) 892-7684 or 1-800-643-7340 Feis Room Rate. Vendor location will be at the discretion of The Portland Feis and The Red Lion.

5. Vendor is allocated 1 chair per table. The Vendor will be paying the following fee: $200 vendor registration per table for the first two tables. Any additional tables or any special accommodations (if needed) must be noted at the bottom of the contract. Additional tables, aside from the first two tables, are available for $20 per table. Failure to indicate additional tables will result in a surcharge of $35 per table.

6. Payments will be made to The Portland Feis.

7. Program Ad in addition to the vendor fee, half page ad at a reduced rate of $40/ half page is asked of all vendors. Ads will need to be submitted by September 22, 2008 to the Portland Feis.

8. Independent Vendor. Both The Portland Feis and the vendor agree that the vendor will act as an

independent contractor in the performance of its duties under this contract. Accordingly, the vendor shall

be responsible for payment of all Federal taxes (there are no State or local taxes in Oregon) and The Portland Feis, Murray School of Irish Dancing, Red Loin Hotel or their agents will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items.

9. Signatures. Both the company and the vendor agree to the above contract.
