Summer Irish Dance Camps

The Murray School of Irish Dancing is excited to announce the return of our summer Irish dance camps for their third year. These camps are a great way to introduce Irish dance, music and culture to your child. They are also a way to have fun with Irish dance and music for the summer. This Year We Have TWO Camps!

Leprechaun Camp (Ages 4-12) August 4-8, 2008

Pirate Camp (Ages 7-13) August 11-15, 2008

Leprechaun Camp August 4 - 8, 2008

Leprechaun Camp is designed for dancers 4-12 years old with All Levels of Dance Experience Welcome. The camp runs daily from 10 AM to 3 PM with early and after-care available. The camp concludes with a free performance on the Friday afternoon for family and friends.

Camp Activities Will Include:

Irish dance

Drama

Irish music (Learn to play Irish music on the Tin Whistle!)

Irish stories

Craft costuming.

All dancers will get to perform and will have a chance to be a Leprechaun star!

What to Wear: T shirt & Shorts, Dance Shoes or runners

What to Bring: Sack Lunch, Snack & Drink

Where: The Academy For The Pacific Festival Ballet

Pirate Camp is designed for buccaneers ages 7-13. All Levels of Dance Experience Welcome. Explore the world of the Irish Pirate through Irish dance, music, drama and stories. The camp runs daily from 10 AM to 3 PM with early and after-care available. Pirate camp concludes with a free performance on the Friday afternoon for family and friends.
