Portland’s Top Irish Dance Performance Troupe
Under the guidance of the Troupe’s founder, Geraldine Murray, TCRG (Oregon’s certified resident Irish Step Dance Teacher since 1995), the Murray Irish Dancers enjoy a stellar reputation for providing professional and entertaining performances throughout the Portland metropolitan area, the Willamette Valley, southwest Washington and northern California.
Appearing regularly on local TV shows, the Troupe has been the subject of local news features in The Oregonian, The Columbian, Portland Living Magazine and the West Linn Tidings. The Troupe is in high demand around St. Patrick’s Day and appears in a number of local folk and ethnic music festivals each year.
The Troupe, well known for its high-energy performances and vividly attractive costumes, never fails to engage its audience, whether young or old. Every performance is marked by toe tapping, foot stomping and hand-clapping in the spirit of Irish culture, music and tradition.
